FHS WISH UPON A STAR 23-24
Wish Upon a Star is a non-profit organization that supports children in need through a concept based around "origami lucky stars". In Asian tradition, it is believed that by folding 1000 lucky stars, a wish shall be granted. We utilize this tool to provide a care package of daily necessities, food, clothing, and hygienic products for every 1,000 stars we make. These care packages will be donated to children in homeless shelters, foster care, and youth groups. Small acts of donations can make a substantial difference in a child's life offering them hope and opportunity. We hope to not only brighten them up but also everyone around them. As we proceed with this club, we will try to open as many leadership opportunities as possible and support as many children across California to our reach.
OUR GOAL
TO HELP AS MUCH CHILDREN AS POSSIBLE ACROSS CALIFORNIA.EVERY 1,000 STARS = CARE PACKAGE OF STARS, NECESSITIES, FOOD, CLOTHES, and MORE to children in need!
MEETING DATES
MEETINGS WILL BE HELD EVERY TUESDAY EXCEPT FOR THE THIRD TUESDAY OF THE MONTH AT HH4 (ENGLISH BUILDING)FIRST MEETING WILL BE HOSTED ON SEPTEMBER 12 (9/12)
